The right call for Pleasant Lake. Pontoons cruise the shoreline at an easy pace, drop anchor in the weedy bays for fishing, and seat the whole family for a sunset float.

Right Around the Corner

If you’re staying in town, with friends nearby, or just looking for the easiest day on the water this is the obvious pick. We’ll coordinate a time and place to meet you the morning of your rental. Pleasant Lake has a public access on the north end, but if you’re renting a lake home dock delivery is also an option.

ABOUT THE LAKE

Right at Annandale’s Doorstep

Pleasant Lake sits in Corinna Township just outside Annandale, covering about 597 acres and reaching depths of 74 feet in its deepest spots. It’s not the biggest lake in the area, but that’s part of the appeal. Smaller lakes mean less boat traffic, easier navigation for newer renters, and shorter cruises between fishing spots and swimming holes.

Half Shallow, Half Deep, All Productive

Roughly half of Pleasant Lake has water shallow enough for aquatic plants to grow. That weedy shallow water is exactly what bass, northern pike, and panfish love. The other half drops off into deeper structure where bigger fish hold during the hot months – resulting in a sneakily good fishing lake for its size!

The First-Timer’s Lake

Pleasant is our go-to recommendation for renters with younger kids on board, anyone newer to boating, or groups that just want to stay relaxed. Less boat traffic, easier navigation, and a more contained feel than the bigger lakes. The whole shoreline is visible from the middle of the lake, which keeps stress low when you’re sharing the helm with the family.

Next Door to Clearwater

Pleasant Lake and Clearwater Lake share a regional park that connects the two with trails, picnic areas, and campsites. If you want a weekend that mixes lake time with hiking and camping, this is a great choice.

Pleasant Lake Rental Questions

We coordinate a time and place to meet you the morning of your rental. Many renters meet us at the public access on the north end, but if you’ve got lakefront access through a rental property or a friend, we can often come right to your dock. Tell us your situation when you book and we’ll figure out the smoothest plan.

For its size, yes. Roughly half the lake is shallow weed habitat, which holds plenty of bass, pike, and panfish. Walleye are also present. It’s not a destination walleye lake like some of the bigger waters in the area, but it’s a great bass and panfish spot for the size.

Yes, the channel connecting the two lakes is fully navigable. A lot of renters spend the morning on one lake and the afternoon on the other.
